Brand Identity for a Local Coffee shop in Bacolod City, Philippines. 

The past meets the present in this branding scheme for local hangout DGH Coffee & Kitchen. Using elements from retro and modern themes, the concept gives off a laidback atmosphere – think 80’s and 90’s diner-style – but is still refreshingly current and chic.

This “Modern Retro” look is easily adapted to match the various paraphernalia such as menus, coffee cups, placemats, coasters, calling cards, and even novelty shirts. The hand-drawn illustrations bring out the establishment’s homegrown familiarity, a comfort perfect for their signature offerings like the Heroic Burger and the iconic Mud Pie. Pair these off with understated typography and solid colors and you get a clear and creative design that leaves a lasting impression.
